Hi, Baran hier!

I have an exceptional background in the English language. I have lived in the United State for 22 years, and have past experience tutoring and Editing papers for students studying English

I am patient, and understand that students learn differently. It is essential to discover how each individual learns best

I also love to have fun and feel that learning should be fun too :)

I am a 28 year old male, recently completed my doctorate and am looking to supplement university teaching with some private tutoring. I have over a year\'s experience of home tutoring in English at GCSE level, and a year\'s experience of teaching Film Studies at degree level.
I am patient, friendly and communicate well with students of all ages.

I have worked as a substitute teacher in New Zealand and I have tutored ESL students in Hong Kong. My background as a journalist and newspaper sub-editor makes me well qualified to guide students in the correct use of English and to improve their writing skills. I am a mother of two young children and I appreciate the patience and sensitivity required to tutor both children and adults. While I am available to tutor face-to-face (in Sydney, Australia), I am just as eager to tutor online. My knowledge of French and Danish is an additional asset. I majored in history at university and I keep abreast of current affairs.

English Language literature, exam preparation, essay writing

I am patient and understanding, accustomed to working with students of differing levels of competencies and confidence. Disclosured checked through my full time job as a guidance tutor.

I believe that learning should be fun, despite the seriousness of it. As an Artist I can relate to children's need of creativity, stimulation and inspiration;by being aware of this I can adapt this as strategies used to teach children and to gain not only their attention but also trust.

I am also a children’s writer and Film Animator. My latest Film, which deals with cultural diversity and tolerance has been shown to school children in both Britain and the United States . This Film has been the basis of classroom forums. Other previous experience includes art therapy for adults with special needs.

I enjoy teaching and I am fascinated by the whole teaching and learning process
My approach to tutoring is: The tutee and I will discuss what goals the tutee wishes to achieve and together we will work to achieve those goals (e.g. coursework, poetry). The tutee may bring before me any aspect of English literature or language that he/she wants to improve and we will work on it. For example, the tutee could show me some coursework he/she is doing and we could go through it and see where there could be improvement. One useful strategy is to look at texts and practise analysing them. The lessons are very flexible and I will work around the tutee's needs.
